My favorite summer memory is going to this offshore tropical island of Taiwan several years ago. I learnt how to snorkel there, went camping, and had a really great time!

I absolutely loved when me and my boyfriend went to Newport for a weekend a few years ago, probably the best summer vacation I’ve ever been on. The weather wasn’t nice at all, but we flew kites and ate a bunch of good food : )

I hope to make this summer one of my most memorable. I have a backyard where I live for the first time in over 20 years. I’ve been enjoying warm breezes and birds I’d rarely see downtown. I have a small garden and flowers blooming!!
My favorite childhood summer memory is definitely going to my grandparent’s trailer and go swimming in the pool at the trailer park. We’d also go golfing and playing “spotlight”. They used to have rabbits there too running wild but they disappeared after a while

My favorite Summer memories stem from something my family and I did every year, but don’t anymore since my grandmother died – my parents and my grandmother would rent a cottage on the South Shore here in Nova Scotia and stay at this beautiful white sand beach (not many in these parts!) for a week. It was the best!

My favorite summer memory is probably going to Florida for summer vacation when I was younger. I have a *very* large family…we’re talking massive–and there was always someone to talk to, always someone to play with. Their houses were always filled to bursting. When we’d have a dinner night, we’d put 3 of those long buffet tables together and all takes turns eating. When my cousins and I had a movie night, we’d be packed in like sardines on the couch, floor, wherever. It was always so comfy and cozy! I miss those days.
When I was little I had carnivals in my back yard. My friends and I made everything! We had penny toss, silly rides, fortune teller, games, snacks etc.. Lots of fun

The best memory of all my summer is undoubtedly watching the sunset on the beach, doing the countdown until the last sliver of sun disappears! Immensely beautiful!
My favorite summer memory is getting to spend a week with my grandparents every summer. I did that til I was probably 13 or so. After that summer schedules somehow got too crazy to spend a full week – so it became a few days. Each grandchild got to spend time by themselves with Grandma & Grandpa – they had 5 grandkids. Days were spent sleeping in & then helping around the house & maybe walking up on to campus with Grandpa to go get freshly made ice cream from the Dairy Bar at Call Hall. Or going to the zoo. Or going shopping with Grandma. Or reading in the backyard on the porch swing that was underneath a huge shade tree. Grandma would get my favorite sugared cereal – something I never got at home! Evenings were spent picking veggies out of the garden. If it was time for peas or green beans, then I’d sit on the driveway with Grandma snapping beans or shelling peas. Under the shade of a large tree that hung over the driveway, it was cool enough to not be miserable outside. They had a huge garden & kept all of their neighbors on the 1 block long street in tomatoes, cucumbers & the like all summer long. Neighbors would stop by and chat when they saw us out on the drive. I don’t see that kind of neighbor-liness much anymore. Both of my grandparents have passed away but I still remember those summer visits like it was yesterday.

My favorite memory is traveling up to Napa to visit family. It is so beautiful up there and I always looked forward to it every summer. The city visits to San Fran and looking at the shops along the bay. San Fran holds so many stories, that every year, we were able to go to a new place because everywhere had different memories.

Hi! I love enjoying my holidays with my parents because we always go to Dolomites (I’m from Italy) to reach difficult refuges and they’re starting to become old… so I don’t know until when we could go there all together and this thought destroys me. Oops… no tears. No tears, never. Sorry for that

I loved when I was a child and we have family reunions and play at the pool and all over the backyard of my grandma’s backyard. It was so fun.

I have been lucky enough to have gotten to go on Carribean cruises and fancy vacations. Still, the best summer memory I have is of my boyfriend and I camping in the mountains for a week. May not be everyone’s cup of tea, but watching the sunrise on mountaintops, cooking food over the fire, and staying up late cuddling and peeking at racoons through our tent was the best. It was a forever memory.
The thing I look forward to the most in summer is my birthday celebration! It falls smack in the middle of July and, since several of my family members b-days also fall right in line with it, we have a huge cookout party with family and all our friends. Sometimes, the party actually goes on for days!
