I know, *shudder* at the bad pun, but can you blame me? It was just too easy since OPI has recently launched their Holland collection for spring. I can’t tell how how long I have been waiting for one shade in particular…but first, Holland. Because Tulips are right up there as one of my most favorite flowers I had to include:

I cannot wait for spring when these start blooming all over the city!

I have preferred buying my nail polishes in mini sizes whenever possible. It gives me the chance to play with more new shades with less cost and less waste. This set is called Dutch Treats and came with 4 of the new shades:

I’m not always pleased with what OPI chooses for the mini collections, but I have to say I liked all of these shades and it included 3 that I had my eye on. I wish that instead of Kiss Me on My Tulips they had included a Roll in the Hague or Thanks a Windmillion, but it’s not burning my toast or anything.

Swatches T-B: OPI Strawberry Margarita, Kiss Me on My Tulips, Ate Berries in the Canaries (all 2 coats)

Kiss Me on My Tulips is slightly more magenta pink while Strawberry Margarita is more of a true bright pink and Ate Berries in the Canaries is well, berry. πŸ˜‰

Swatches T-B: OPI Cajun Shrimp, Essie Vermillionaire, OPI Red Lights Ahead…Where? (all 2 coats)

Red Lights Ahead and Cajun Shrimp are fairly close, in person though Cajun Shrimp is a bit more coral while Red Lights Ahead leans more orange. Vermillionaire is much more orange than the other two.

Swatches T-B: Butter London Lady Muck, OPI I Have a Herring Problem, Butter London Victoriana. (all 2 coats)

Initially I thought that Victoriana and I Have a Herring Problem would be identical. I was on the right track but there is a definite difference between them. Victoriana leans more teal while Herring Problem is more grey. Lady Muck has a similar grey tone to it but is obviously lighter and more pastel looking. They all have a similar shimmer to them but Herring Problem’s is warmest with hints of gold.

T-B: OPI Sparrow Me the Drama, Zoya Barbie, OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! (all 2 coats)

I saved the one I was anticipating most for last; Pedal Faster Suzi! This picture doesn’t quite do it justice but it has a gorgeous pearl shimmer over that beautiful light pink base. I can see myself wearing this a lot this spring (which is saying something considering I am not a pink nail polish girl). Nothing to add about the comparisons that aren’t already clearly visible. Pedal Faster Suzi! is a total win, and I highly recommend it πŸ˜‰

Overall I think the OPI Holland collection has something for everyone. For swatches of the entire line, check out Scrangie’s fantastic post here. I think I need to order Thanks a Windmillion. I love those seafoam type shades! Will you be sporting a little piece of Holland on your nails this spring?

Wow! Pedal Faster Suzi is really pretty, and usually the pinks in OPI’s collections don’t catch my eye! Thanks for the comparisons.

I can’t wait for these to pop up in stores here in the Netherlands! I’m very happy with this collection, a bit patriotic perhaps… But I want them all πŸ™‚

That’s Berry Darling by OPI. I’ve been wearing it for pbrlaboy close to 2 years. Before that everything was too pink or too red and I find this to be the perfect color. But considering how long I’ve been wearing it, maybe it’s time to switch it up.
