2011 was the year of glossy lips for me, but not so much with lipgloss. I preferred a lipstick-gloss hybrid because this year I decided I didn’t like lipgloss that much anymore. I have gotten much more selective about what formulas I like and won’t touch anything that is too sticky. I also went bolder and brighter than I ever have, thanks in part to several Lipstick Bandits. 
I also OBSESSED over nail polish this year. It was hard to narrow it down, but I stuck to just the ones I wore a lot.

I went nail crazy this year and it was *really* hard to pick just a few, but somehow I managed!

I wore MAC Ever Hip to death this past summer… and I used to be gloss devotee, too. The glossy lipsticks last so well these days
Mermaid’s Tears and Moonlight would make my top polishes, too!
i’m so glad to see Revlon superlustrous in coral reef and 17 mirrorshine in peace. i own both products and love them so much. I waited 7 whole months to have Coral reef in my arms. I first swatched it in a drugstore way back in may and only managed to get my manicured hands on it a few weeks ago.how I lived without it I have no idea. haha. As for the 17 mirrorshine lipsticks i have only love for them.I included Belle in my top beauty products for 2011 post. While I do love Peace, Belle is my go to lipstick, the lipstick i could happily live with for the rest of my life. Have you tried it Danielle?
I loooove MAC Impassioned and Vegas Volt. I picked them up this year and loved them, though I need to wear them more often!
