It’s the middle of the week, and cloudy yet again. This is seriously the longest streak of gloomy weather ever. Record rain and all of these clouds has made life positively dull. But sun is in the forecast soon! Hooray!
Meanwhile, I took some products for a spin today, and here is what I ended up putting together to brighten this otherwise gloomy day!

So far, the Eyes to Kill Intense shadows are amazing! I love the pigmentation and consistency of them. Full review coming soon, but I bet in the mean time Khaki Pulse shows up at my doorstep
Also making it’s debut in this FOTD but I have been using for about two weeks now is the Givenchy mascara. This is by far the best mascara I have ever used. It was recommended in a video (several in fact) by GossMakeupArtist on Youtube. Very glad I took the plunge and picked it up. Full review coming on that item as well!
You will notice I mixed several products to make my “foundation” and have been using this same combo for awhile. I really like the oil control the Tarte foundation gives me, but it’s getting to be a bit thick for this time of year. So I add a bit of tinted moisturizer and a bit of highlighter to it and I am set. I spritz my foundation brush once with Fix+ and I really like the effect this gives my foundation and the added longevity it gives my face makeup as a whole.
How have you been changing up your foundation routine? Have you found something that really works for this transition period into summer?

You are a dangerous beauty blogging friend to have. I wanted, and now want exponentially more, both Giorgio Armani shadows and the Tarte blush!
You look gorgeous!
♥ Jessica
Aww thanks Jessica! You always look gorgeous as well! That Harlot stain is really your color! I can’t wait to see our FOTD with it (hint hint). You are dangerous too, as you are the one who inspired me to look into these shadows when you reviewed Red Lust. How are you liking that shade so far?
you are making venture closer and closer to the Armani counter ( dangerous!!) but ur FOTD is amazingly convincing!!!
If a foundation is not glowy enough i pump in lorac’s luminzer mix it together and apply with a damp sponge for a dewy and glowy effect!
You look gorgeous!
Aww! What a nice thing to say, thank you!
Phenom’eneyes is one of my faves too. It takes FOREVER for a tube to dry up (at least mine did!) and it’s even more amazing as a top coat. I used it over Lancome Hypnose Drama all the time for insane lashes. I’ve had my eye on the Eyes to Kill Intense Red Lust shade, but I can never find it stocked anywhere, so I’ve been considering it a blessing for my wallet for now… haha
Ooh! i will have to try that! I have a mini Lancome Hypnose mascara and that’s going to be tried out tomorrow for sure. I know, the ETK are expensive but sooo worth it for what you are getting. I wish I had a counter near me so I could swatch them all in person before I buy. Of course, that would be even more dangerous I am sure!
ahhh the ETK shadows look like sparkly goodness!
Hi Kelly-
They absolutely are! I love them and want more!
I literallly CANNOT wait for your reviews on the Armani eyeshadows and the Givenchy mascara! You lashes look amazing here!
Thanks Tiffany! I think I will have the Givenchy Review up tonight or tomorrow. It really is an awesome mascara!
Lovely! I can’t wait to read your reviews on the ETK shadows and the Givenchy mascara! I’ve been all but drooling over the ETK shadows and I’m still trying to find the perfect mascara. =)
you look so lovely.. The GA Eyes To Kill are just gooorgeous!
Thank you! Have you tried them out yet?
