Happy Monday all! Did you enjoy your weekend? I know mine went zooming by. I did get the chance to go shopping this weekend, and of course I visited my two favorite places, Sephora and MAC. I will be sharing the results of that over the coming weeks as I have opportunity to test the new things I have. Swatches of some new MAC lipsticks (new to me) will be coming this week as well! Anyhow, I wanted to give my MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in Primary Yellow a whirl since I have been seeing yellow on the eyes in EVERY magazine I pick up! Here are the results:

I cannot tell how many compliments at the MAC counter I got, as well as at Ulta and Sephora. Everyone LOVED the yellow. I am so glad that I purchased it because it really doesn’t look so harsh with the right complimenting makeup. What do you think? Would you sport the yellow liner trend?

I LOVE the pop of color on you! I think it really makes your eyes pop
Thanks Tiffany! Are you going to bust out any yellow eye colors this spring? I think you probably have the right skin tone and coloring to pull it off!
I like the yellow, it really suits you!
If I was going to wear it, I’d probably pair it with a neutral. Hm, maybe tan, a little coral & a bit of yellow! (I’m not yet brave enough to completely stray away from neutrals xD)
Thanks girl! Pairing it with neutrals definitely works and lets the eyes take center stage. I hope you try this and post it! I love seeing so much color now that winter is over!
SO cute. I’m jealous of your brown eyes here, I think with my green eyes it might look a bit too … green and gold?
♥ Jessica
Thanks Jessica! I am sometimes jealous of green eyes and blues eyes too for the colors they pull off better than my brown ones can! This yellow was so fun and I can’t wait to wear it again!
